There are so many fleeting moments wrapped up in growing a family—the anticipation of meeting your baby, the quiet connection between parents and a newborn, and all the tiny details that seem to change from one day to the next. I love photographing these beautiful, sometimes exhausting, wonderfully imperfect seasons of family life.
Through Autumn's Lens offers maternity, newborn, and baby photography throughout Sonoma County, Marin County, Napa County and the surrounding North Bay. Whether we're documenting your pregnancy, welcoming a new baby into your family, or photographing your growing family during those first years of sleepy snuggles, curious expressions, and tiny hands and feet, my goal is to create photographs that preserve the feeling of this particular moment in your family's story.
My approach is relaxed and family-focused. We can work in your home, outdoors, or in another location that feels meaningful to your family. There is no expectation that everyone—or every baby—will cooperate perfectly. We'll take our time, follow your baby's cues, make room for breaks and cuddles, and let the genuine moments unfold naturally.

I give a full and enthusiastic recommendation for Through Autumn's Lens. We have a two year old son and I was expecting our second child. From conception to production, working with Autumn was pure fun and ease. In coming up with a photo location and shot ideas, Autumn was receptive to our thoughts and desires for the images. We wanted to look like ourselves, capturing a moment in time rather than a posed production. Autumn made some excellent suggestions - go to our favorite place and have fun! So we shot our photos at our favorite nearby beach. During the shoot, Autumn made my husband and I, both camera shy, feel very comfortable. Best of all, she made the experience fun for our toddler. As a result, we have some of the best pictures I could ever imagine! We look so relaxed and happy. Post production was also a joy. Autumn combed through hundreds of photos and selected the best images then asked if we had any feedback or changes to make. She gave us a disc of the final photos and created a password protected online link to share our pictures. Given this experience, I give my highest recommendation for Autumn - five stars!
