We thoroughly enjoyed working with Autumn for our family photo shoot in December. We thought it might be a challenge getting our 1yr old granddaughter to smile-- but for Autumn, no problem. She used four different backgrounds in our home, encouraged us to relax and have fun. We had so many great proofs to choose from! She helped me order two enlargements (one matted and framed, the other a thin wrap) and we are extremely pleased with the results -- top quality. Autumn takes great pride in her craft and couldn't be more personable. Excellent communication throughout the process.

Once you book a New Family Member Session, you and I will connect to create a plan for our session. If your schedule only allows for a few brief text exchanges that’s fine - or if you have the time to meet over coffee beforehand, that’s great too. I know this time is precious and you need to spend every available moment with your newborn or sleeping or (true luxury) showering. Our session will only require exactly as much time as you can give it. Celebrating a new family member should be just that - your focus needs to be on this fleeting time, not distracted by me and our session together. Also, the full time slot of our session isn’t just for photography - it allows for breaks, nursing snacks, etc. and the occasional candid photo these breaks offer. Celebrating a new family member is one of my favorite moments to be a part of, babies represent hope and so much potential, and yes these moments are fleeting beyond your wildest imagination.
My family loves working with Autumn for our family photographs! She's captured our growing family several times over the past couple of years and we've been very pleased with the results. She has an incredible ability to put her clients (toddlers, infants and camera shy parents) at ease by choosing settings that make us all comfortable and connecting with us all to bring out natural smiles.

I give a full and enthusiastic recommendation for Through Autumn's Lens. We have a two year old son and I was expecting our second child. From conception to production, working with Autumn was pure fun and ease. In coming up with a photo location and shot ideas, Autumn was receptive to our thoughts and desires for the images. We wanted to look like ourselves, capturing a moment in time rather than a posed production. Autumn made some excellent suggestions - go to our favorite place and have fun! So we shot our photos at our favorite nearby beach. During the shoot, Autumn made my husband and I, both camera shy, feel very comfortable. Best of all, she made the experience fun for our toddler. As a result, we have some of the best pictures I could ever imagine! We look so relaxed and happy. Post production was also a joy. Autumn combed through hundreds of photos and selected the best images then asked if we had any feedback or changes to make. She gave us a disc of the final photos and created a password protected online link to share our pictures. Given this experience, I give my highest recommendation for Autumn - five stars!
